How does clutter feel when you're trying to manage the rest of life?
Updated: Mar 10
There is a relationship between clutter and emotion.
Your surrounding can affect our anxiety levels, sleep, and ability to focus.
When you are, like we all do, trying to manage it all, work, kids, parents, friends, health, mental health, fun, and drink 1,5L water per day, the clutter around you is not helping you.
It’s like that annoying itching thing that is here day and night. 😵💫
It’s like a background noise which is always there and never lets you have a quiet moment (EVEN WHEN THE KIDS ARE IN BED) 💆♀️
It’s an extra weight on your shoulder. 🥵
But it doesn’t have to be that way, you can get rid of the clutter and live in an organized home providing you the sense of calm and clarity you are looking for. 🧘
Decluttering can really be a therapeutic and empowering activity by giving you back the control over your home and all your belongings.
Have a cluttered home that is seriously getting on your nerves?
I’ve got a challenge for you. Instead of stressing about your home being clutter, try to picture/imagine how you would like your home to feel for you!
I am NOT talking about building another Pinterest Board with those unachievable unreal pictures with perfectly organized pantries.
I am talking about imagining how the ideal flow in your current home would look like. What would make your life easier? How would you feel, if you could reach that ideal flow?
I bet this will give you the push to start decluttering.
Challenge accepted?
Until next time,
Nazanine
